Responsible for all accounting transactions including the preparation and payment of payroll and payroll taxes. Updated and maintained general ledger, accounts payable and receivable and prepared all financial reports. Installed and implemented new construction based accounting system. Responsible for in-house review, monthly and year-end closings. Developed and implemented job scheduling application software and various imaging and on-line form applications for staff. Work performed during audit and review engagements comprised of performing bank account reconcilliations and individual general ledger account analysis which included detailed analytical procedures and preparation of workpapers to support the results. Performed various accounting system consulting duties for firm clients including programming customized accounting reports. Installed accounting software and provided accounting software support for firm clients. Support provided for software packages included American Contractor, Construction Partner, J. D. Edwards, Mas 90, Quickbooks and Timberline.
