As an academic, he is currently pursuing a master's degree at the University of São Paulo (USP), with research focused on the regulation of artificial intelligence and the protection of personal data. Researcher at two institutes: 1) Lawgortihm: law and AI research association founded by professors from the faculties of engineering, philosophy, mathematics and law at USP; 2) Legal Grounds Institute: think tank dedicated to the protection of personal data in the algorithm culture. Writer, co-author of the books “LGPD: Influxes in procedural law” (2024), "Startups: relevant legal aspects" (2022) and "The Brazilian personal data protection law: relevant practical and theoretical aspects in the public and private sector" (2021). In the public sector, he served in the Public Ministry of Santa Catarina as a member of the Superintendence of Technology and Innovation, integrating the Strategic Committee for the Protection of Personal Data. As a volunteer, he co-founded three organizations at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, his alma mater: 1) Fundo Catarina (endowment); 2) Locus Iuris (Junior enterprise); 3) AADUFSC (athletic association). He has international academic experience with periods of study in the USA, France and Argentina, opportunities that gave him a global view, and fluency in English, French and Spanish, in addition to Portuguese. His daily challenge is to become a better human being, exercising empathy, patience and active listening.
