Joined the organisation to bring talent acquisition in-house - to drive the quality, improve the candidate experience and build a pipeline of talent by promoting the employer brand. Averaged 60-80 hires per annum as an individual contributor, over 90% of which were direct. A fascinating place to work - with a legacy that created many of the things that we take for granted in our everyday lives, combined with an ever present desire to drive forward ideas and standards for the 21st century.

Hired to spearhead a major expansion throughout 2014, covering recruitment across technical and commercial disciplines for Europe and Asia Pac. With responsibility for the entire search and selection process, provided advice and guidance to line management on all aspects of selection and onboarding whilst building out formal HR practices and procedures within the organisation.

Seven month contract to setup and establish a recruitment team of four working across two sites - managing 45-50 separate openings at any one time. Carried out a review of the recruitment process across the business and implemented changes to re-engage functional line managers following the introduction of an ATS. Introduced the team to pro-active search methods and implemented changes in the advertising strategy to increase the level and quality of respondents. Held ongoing responsibility for coaching and mentoring line managers on competency based interview techniques and co-hosted the company recruitment accreditation training.

Hired to establish the EMEA recruitment operation of this privately held US corporate - partnering with the Group Managing Director and senior stakeholders to identify and select Executive, Technical and Commercial staff, Went on to lead the recruitment of over 40 healthcare informatics professionals for a National software implementation across Scotland.
