It started with helping some friends with Graphic Design solutions like logo design, posters, Facebook covers, and various certificates for small events. People started to recommend me for their friends and it was a great practice to improve my Adobe Illustrator skills. Lately, my projects started getting bigger and small logos turned into full-size car liveries, JetSki liveries, or digital liveries for some racing games.

That energetic personality, hard work and initiatives of mine were noticed, and I was asked if I would like to help with managing projects. Guess what I said?.. :) In the context of exhibition stand design and construction, a project manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the entire process from conception to execution. Their and mine, as an assistant, responsibilities include: ⦿ client communication; ⦿ project planning; ⦿ team coordination: ⦿ budget managing; ⦿ risk assessment and mitigation; ⦿ quality control; ⦿ timeline management: ⦿ logistics and coordination; ⦿ client satisfaction; ⦿ post-event evaluation. Our expertise involves understanding the client's brand, objectives, and target audience, and translating that information into a unique and engaging booth design that effectively communicates the clients message. The industry is dynamic and often involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including event organizers, marketing teams, and other vendors to ensure a seamless and successful event experience for clients.

Exhibition stand makers are typically part of the broader exhibition and event industry. The professionals who specialize in designing, constructing, and managing exhibition stands, LED lighboxes and signs, display stands. companies work closely with businesses, organizations, or event planners to create custom-designed and visually appealing displays for offices, trade shows, expos, and other events. I was hired to help with manufacturing all these things listed above, from generating ideas, making some 3D sketches and turning everything into physical product.

During Covid times I grabbed the first job offer I got in Birmingham after graduating from uni. Working part-time at this position helped me to pay my bills and have some free time to update my portfolio and apply for industry jobs.

This was my first job in the United Kingdom. It is a fashion-related company, so we were picking orders, sorting them out, checking in-stock items and meeting company targets and deadlines efficiently. It was really good practice to improve my skills working as a team member in a fast-paced environment. I've met a lot of nice people there and made life-time friends!
