Case Management in Transitional Housing Program, working with ten families at a time, assisting them with access to the community services available to them. Assisted families with budgeting, problem solving, realizing their goals, working toward, and maintaining, self-sufficiency. Worked directly with Homeless Solutions Coordinator of Supportive Services in matching community programs which would benefit the participants. Responsible for completing all Federal Housing forms to assure proper access to programs and tax credits for the organization. And recording notes in a state database. Attended Fair Housing Administration seminars when they were available

Conducted interviews of prospective Welfare Recipients. Responsible for collecting all the pertinent information to accurately determine eligibility for Welfare benefits and authorizing benefits. Completed referrals to appropriate units throughout the agency and responsible for connecting clients with any other appropriate agencies i.e., Domestic Violence, Legal Aid, Norwich Housing Authority, etc.

Responsible for all data entry of recipient information and case composition

Responsible for filing suit, coordination of hearings, default judgments, replevins and data entry. Use of Dictaphone.

Responsible for all office A/R, A/P, shipping, banking and payroll. Assisted in hiring of new employees. Also serviced client accounts and all customer service. General billboard pricing and color-coding.

Perform field work and writing reports regarding various investigations, including; abuse and/or neglect referrals, problem family situations, in-home supervision, residential placement, foster-care, Adoption Complaint Investigations (ACI's) and placement supervision. Investigations included interviews of children, parents, relatives, neighbors, and other parties to the family or institution; obtain medical care; determine and take appropriate action, such as seeking court intervention, police assistance, and, in severe situations, child removal from an unsafe environment in accordance with New Jersey Also responsible for collecting records, analyzing facts, drawing conclusions, determining appropriate action(s), preparation of formal reports of all alleged abuse and neglect cases to the Central Office of Child Abuse Control, and Court, and testimony in Court as to same.
