At this medical-communications company, I worked with thought leaders, membership organizations, and pharmaceutical-company executives in developing and executing educational programs. My responsibilities included business development, client services, and guiding educational content for programs.

I co-directed a staff of nine that provided clinical and distributive services for this 705-bed nursing facility. I was also responsible for information and materials management, and I served as a preceptor for pharmacy students from the Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy.

Isabella’s in-house pharmacy department was outsourced in June 2009 for economic reasons. After the transition to an outsourced pharmacy, I served as an on-site pharmacist/manager. My clinical responsibilities included drug regimen review, consultation with clinical staff on drug-therapy issues, resolving prior authorizations, and I provided support for the vendor pharmacy and pharmacy-consulting company. My managerial responsibilities included budgeting, quality management, regulatory compliance, and I providing clinical expertise, liaison, and training support for the facility in implementing computerized, prescriber-order entry.
