Robert Porter

Starting his career as a Dj / Producer, Rob quickly made a name for himself in the UK Garage scene in the late 90's / early 00's when given his first industry break by Nick Raphael at BMG remixing under the alias, G4orce, working with artists including Destiny's Child, Kelis, Usher, The Sugababes and many more. Rob then took on the momentus task of building the Death Row Records London studios under company IMG. A full studio build and then 5 years as head engineer wound up his time at Death Row UK / IMG. Rob then took a break to start a family with his wife of 3 years. During this time Rob embraced the changing music technology / new digital landscape and returned to his first love, House Music. Co-founding Pink Panda as a passion project with friend and Dj Ardell Mafi, the duo took the project to the highest level of the global EDM scene, succeeding into Dj Mag's Top 100 spot for 6 years straight, peaking at #65 in 2021. The Pink Panda project continues to reside currently within the top 100 in 2025. During 2023 he decided to end his DJ touring career as Pink Panda and sold his 50% stake in the brand and touring rights of Pink Panda, retaining ownership of the music catalogue that was very dear to his heart, Remixes and collabs with Dua Lipa, Elton John, Nicki Minaj, Bruno Mars being amongst the releases. Due to Rob breaking into the Chinese market and touring extensively within the territory under Pink Panda, Rob built, alongside, a music industry 360 network with partners including Live Nation Asia, Netease and a huge list of club owners, promoters, music artists and artist managers alike. Rob decided, in 2023, to look to the future and launch a music consultancy company with business partner Kim Porter and to also co-found his first publishing company ARTISTRIBE shortly thereafter.Currently prioritising his wish to nurture the next generation of music artists, labels, publishing houses and to disrupt the current music industry culture, Rob looks forward with positivity and optimism at the new challenges that lay ahead.
