Bob Porter is an independent consultant with more than twenty five years of worldwide experience in social marketing and policy communication. He has provided technical direction to public health projects in Asia, Africa, the Russian Federation, and the Caribbean. He has held senior technical positions at the Futures Group International, the Academy for Educational Development, and at Porter/Novelli—a global public relations firm—where he directed the international social marketing work of the Washington DC office. Bob now combines health consulting with tree farming and conservation advocacy in the foothills of the Virginia Blue Ridge.
