Hello! I'm Robert Kelly, the Founder and Chief Executive of Furchild, the Middle East’s pioneer in fresh, raw, and organic pet food. Alongside my partner, we embarked on this journey in November 2016 with a vision to revolutionize pet nutrition in the UAE and beyond. My background in business and law from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, provided me with a solid foundation, particularly in property development and asset management. However, it was my relocation to Dubai 12 years ago that ignited my passion for fostering positive change. My deep-rooted commitment to health and well-being led me to join Kcal, an innovative food and lifestyle start-up, as the Chief Operating Officer. There, I witnessed firsthand the transformative power of wholesome, healthy food on individuals' lives. Driven by a desire to extend this philosophy to our pets, I co-founded Furchild. Since our launch in 2016, we’ve delivered over 10 million meals, garnered countless awards, and transformed the lives of thousands of pets and pet parents. My journey with Furchild has been enriched by collaborations with esteemed experts in pet nutrition, including mentorship from pioneers like Steve Brown, Dr. Barbara Royal, James Pendergast, Dr Natasha Lilly & Karen Becker. In addition to my role at Furchild, I’m also the Co-owner and Director of the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapies (CIVT) and Animal Diet Formulator (ADF). Together with my dedicated colleagues, we advocate for greater awareness and education on the importance of proper nutrition for pets, driving positive change in the industry. Every day, I am privileged to contribute to the holistic well-being of pets worldwide, ensuring they receive the best in wholesome, fresh, and organic nutrition alongside integrative therapies.
