Currently serving as Quality & Risk Management Leader for Ernst & Young's Financial services ("FS") Americas practice, with a focus on Managed Services. This includes driving cross-service line collaboration within the business and across risk management for the FS practice. Responsible for FS technical tax matters such as tax return disclosure positions, engagement contracting, risk management consultations, cross-border QRM matters, auditor independence issues, etc. Also work closely with the business units to ensure compliance with new tax guidance and legislation, including reviewing & communicating the latest tax legislation, regulations and IRS guidance. Responsible for other operations including: FS tax technology development efforts, U.S. & global work sharing, certain financial results, and resource allocations (500 resources in U.S., 400 resources in India, 70 resources in Argentina). Responsibilities also include involvement with forecasts, planning, people development, recruiting activities, mentoring/training activities; as well as addressing management of the group with respect to risk exposures, and performance (e.g., pricing of complex engagements, etc.). Continuing involvement in business development activities through proposal opportunities and new business build-outs.
