Responsibilities included: Writing a weekly press review on EU matters and the host countries, fact sheets and reports, media relations with a special focus on the role of social media and digital diplomacy, a monthly review on new EU legislation and EU foreign policy, a biannual report on the work conducted by the Embassy and representing the Embassy at various meetings.

Responsibilities included: Writing a daily EU/EFTA related press review from the Member States of EFTA, maintenance of the extranet and external website of EFTA, taking part in launching a new internal web portal, promoting EFTA via social media, drafting and publishing press releases and assisting staff members drafting annual publications.

Responsibilities included: Presenting the Council of Europe by using social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter, especially the role of the Secretary General of the Council and the Head of the Nobel Peace Prize Committee Thorbjorn Jagland. I also got to know the Council‘s work closely by attending its meetings and lectures.

European Schoolnet is the network of 30 European Ministries of Education, based in Brussels. As a not-for-profit organisation, we aim to bring innovation in teaching and learning to our key stakeholders: Ministries of Education, schools, teachers, researchers, and industry partners. Since its founding in 1997, European Schoolnet has used its links with education ministries to help schools make effective use of educational technologies, equipping both teachers and pupils with the skills to achieve in the knowledge society. European Schoolnet provides both Ministries and schools with: information and services relating to the innovative use of educational technology; outreach campaigns on specific educational topics such as maths, science and technology; and research activities.

I worked at Skarpur for the summer in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and in December 2006. Also part time during my studies. Responsibilities included: Finding and processing news, interviews, data and photos. Supervision of the paper and its website during the editor‘s summer holiday.

Also during the summer in 2010 and as a freelance reporter since 2008. Responsibilities included: Developing a brand new news website and supervising its operation, writing articles mainly about economical, political and sociological issues.

Responsibilities include: The management of all external and internal communication on behalf of the organisation, for example press releases, newsletters, publications, the official website of the union, data management systems and technical development. This also includes relations with board members, elected representatives, partners and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities include: Managing and editing the official website and other communication materials of the Scientix project, supporting more active collaboration in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education in Europe. The European Schoolnet runs the project, which is co-funded by the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Union. www.scientix.eu
