Lead Assembly Technician within the Ellwood National Forge cell at Acutec.

* ▪ Certified GM Furnace Operator. * ▪ CNC & Manual Lathe Operator. * ▪ AMI Welding. * ▪ Implement Lean and 5S strategies in work area. * ▪ Tested for manufacturing safety regulations to OSHA standards. * ▪ Pressure test assemblies to ensure capabilities of parts. * ▪ Flow test assemblies and single piece parts to ensure correct flow rates. * ▪ Track daily production exits and rejects and update TAKT board. * ▪ Work in High Performance Teams (HPT). Weekly meetings with the teams take place to discuss and address production/manufacturing issues & future workload. HPT meetings also consist of production trends which are tracked on the TAKT board of each cell. * ▪ Work closely with Manufacturing Engineer of cell by implementing new ideas and process changes to benefit production rates, reduce safety hazards, reduce productions cost, and reduce production rejects, whilst maintaining customer quality standards. * ▪ Noted by many to be a quick learner and favored for new tasks due to technical thinking skills.

▪ Performed three or more jobs daily, which would normally be found done by one or two people each. ▪ Zero findings in all my areas during AS-9100 audit performed for Boeing. ▪ XRF Certified, X-ray raw material to assure correct mill certification of raw stock.(Radiation Class, & estimated 25+ hours of radiation/x-ray experience) ▪ Unloaded & loaded trucks, PO receive, Checked & traced all incoming material & corresponding mill certifications, Placed accordingly in inventory, Ran all material per work order/traveler scheduled dates, & recycled/booked all excess material not needed for job, in inventory. ▪ Certified/Tested forklift operator. (10,000lbs.) ▪ Maintenance, Pipe Bender, Part Washing, Sand Blasting, Pressure Testing, Deburring, Inspection, & other misc. shop duties on a daily basis. ▪ Often pulled from production floor for IT issues. Set up management software, network users, user permissions, fixed and updated driver issues, and maintained security programs on individual and floor computers.

Learned the fundamentals of College and University studies and guidelines. I have decided to transfer to a different University due to the lack of professionalism I dealt with from UoP.
