Appointed as a Licensed Local Pastor in July 2010 to Young’s UMC. Has a passion for preaching and teaching the Word of God with life application sermons that are evangelistic, inspiring, and help bring the Word to life. Leads worship, plays the guitar, is a tenor in the Young’s choir, teaches Sunday School, leads Bible Studies, and spiritual enrichment classes at Young’s Church. Married Carole in 1977. Has been a self-employed business owner since 1978. Bishard Business Machine Services. He is the state president for the PA State Sunday School Association. As a trustee, former president, and former editor for the Seven Mountains Bluegrass Association he has helped to promote bluegrass music throughout Central Pennsylvania. Is a member of the Stringtowne Trio, formerly the Grace Notes, playing guitar and singing lead and tenor vocals in an eclectic mix of Gospel and acoustic string music. Hobbies include playing guitar and building guitars. His latest musical endeavor is learning to play the banjo. Hunting and fishing.
