About

Bob serves as HDR Director of Dams, Levee and Civil Works and has led some of HDR’s most complex dam, levee and hydraulics engineering assignments involving flood management, water supply , sediment management and interior storm water management systems. He is currently leading HDR’s Water Dam, Levee and Civil Works program and driving the strategic alignment of technology, project delivery and quality across HDR's operating areas and regions. Bob has bachelors and masters degrees in Civil and Water Resources Engineering from the University of Minnesota. He currently services as Chair of the Alternative Finance Committee for ASCE’s Coasts Oceans Ports and River Institute and is on the Board of Directors for the America’s Watershed Initiative, a non-profit focusing on the benefits provided by the Mississippi River System. For over 30 years, Bob has worked as an accomplished program/project manager on increasingly larger flood control, storm water, risk reduction, environmental restoration and infrastructure resiliency projects.
