LEADERSHIP AND STRATEGY • Reporting directly to the Group Chief Information Officer and collaborating closely with both business partners and heads of crews and chapters, I led the Pricing and Modelling (P&M) IT Crew overseeing over 40 core pricing, reserving and modelling systems across P&C, L&H, risk and finance • Together with Product and Solution Owners I defined the technology vision and roadmap for the P&M Crew, promoted innovation and ensured delivery of high-quality, efficient services and modelling capabilities across the Group in alignment with strategic priorities • As part of my mandate I ensured build and run of pricing and modelling solutions with full profit-and-loss accountability and monitor performance of services in my perimeter (KPIs, SLAs, ROIs, etc.) BUSINESS VALUE DELIVERY • Acting as the primary IT counterpart for the P&M Business Crew Lead, I was responsible for translating strategic goals into an actionable, well-governed technology project portfolio • Representing the P&M IT Crew in various governance bodies, I reported on value creation to Executive Committee sponsors and key business stakeholders • I also built and monitored P&M Crew budget of nearly EUR 20m, participated in cost allocation and drove resource planning for solutions within my portfolio while ensuring full IT lifecycle ownership from ideation to operation INNOVATION AND ARCHITECTURE • In close collaboration with Architecture Chapter I co-designed and implemented the target enterprise architecture, maintaining system consistency and integration within the broader SCOR ecosystem PEOPLE MANAGEMENT AND TRANSFORMATION • Applying my collaborative and inclusive leadership style I ensured engagement and development of my diverse global teams of over 50 individuals including solution owners, software engineers and technical experts RISK MANAGEMENT AND COMPLIANCE • I oversaw the implementation of SCOR’s IT Internal Control Systems and supported audits and certification projects

CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT • As the CUO of TONI I was the driving force for underwriting and pricing activities and contributing to other critical business decisions through various internal and external management board meetings UNDERWRITING AND STEERING • Along with other functions and risk carriers I defined target portfolios (monitor, control and steer them) for motor, private liability and household products to name a few. For that purpose my team of actuaries, data analysts and reporting specialists developed, ran and maintained portfolio monitoring tools • I was responsible for reserving and performance management of each portfolio as well as coordination of portfolio pruning and pricing actions with our insurance partners • My team ran the market price watch, production analysis and tariff optimisation to further develop and revise underwriting approaches INSURANCE PRICING • In partnerships with risk carriers I developed insurance tariffs for new schemes as well as monitor, control and develop tariffs for each existing insurance scheme • In addition, I was providing ad-hoc pricing for non-standard risks within current schemes and indicative pricing for new scheme prospects TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM INTEGRATION • In my role I was also responsible for continuously developing concepts for underwriting and pricing tools and cockpits to ensure easy, flexible and highly automated steering of pricing and portfolio

Head Pricing Tools & Systems Asia • Product Portfolio Owner (Vice President)

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT • As a line manager I built up and managed the Tools & Systems Asia team, which over time grew to five actuaries, analysts and product owners located in Bangalore, India, and upon the reorganisation of the unit in Bangalore, I continued to support the team as a functional lead • In early 2016 I received the mandate to expand Tools & Systems team into Asia and thus was the main responsible for evaluating new team’s setup and operations options, driving the service transition, and managing HR topics: Hiring, onboarding and off-boarding, coaching, on-the-job-training, and performance management PRODUCT PORTFOLIO OWNERSHIP • With the Tools & Systems Asia team I managed a portfolio of three major treaty applications: Concert and Maestro (two state-of-the-art pricing and structuring applications used globally by reinsurance underwriters, structurers, actuaries and client managers with over USD 18.5 billion in gross reinsurance premium and around 1'000 users), Global Rating Platform (the main experience- and non-NatCat exposure-based loss modelling application for non-life business with over 400 users) as well as development of smaller line-specific pricing tools ACTUARIAL PRICING AND UNDERWRITING • During April 2017 renewals in Japan I became part of a small marine underwriting team to travel to Tokyo and, once again, the main pricing actuary for Japanese marine treaties. In December of the same year, I provided peak renewals pricing support to Market Underwriters in Singapore focusing mainly on Indonesian multiline treaties • Over years I became a go-to person for ad-hoc questions on modelling, structuring and pricing as well as actuarial tools usage, and delivered several two-day to one-week training sessions on pricing and modelling tools usage and experience and exposure methods, always receiving excellent feedback

Head Pricing Tools & Systems Asia • Product Portfolio Owner (Vice President)

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT • During my two-year International Assignment in Singapore I was leading and managing the Tools & Systems Asia team, onboarding, coaching and developing new team members and marketing the newly established team across the Asia region with the goal of establishing trust and smooth collaboration between underwriters and the team PRODUCT PORTFOLIO OWNERSHIP • Over the period of my assignment I successfully transitioned the responsibility for global treaty pricing and loss modelling applications under the management of the Tools & Systems Asia team INNOVATION AND AUTOMATION • Having two main structuring and pricing treaty tools under my management, I set the ground for unifying the pricing tools landscape in a single application of the future, Harmony, with the goal of eliminating inefficiencies, improving turn-around times and delivering out-of-the-box capabilities to the broader underwriting community, while maintaining the required flexibility of the final tool. With this objective I was leading discussions with key stakeholders, gathering requirements, drafting the business case until project’s successful kick-off and hand-over • There are a number of projects focusing on efficiency and automation in which I played an import role: I drove the implementation of automated offer creation from Concert, setting up a Maestro costing structure automatically, and I was one of initiators of the FAST project automating cedents’ submission import

Senior Actuary • Pricing Tools • Product Owner (Vice President)

PRODUCT OWNERSHIP • During my two years in the role of a Product Owner for Maestro—Swiss Re's highly customisable structuring and cash-flow modelling application for complex multi-year transactions—I was ensuring close collaboration with key stakeholders and led the project team to deliver a broad range of highly appreciated features and improvements: From changes in actuarial methodologies, through automating the setup of the costing structure, to improving the the overall tool's stability and reducing the calculation time by one order of magnitude • For two years I was a Product Owner of Global Rating Platform—a business-critical, state-of-the-art loss modelling application used globally by non-life treaty underwriters and actuaries (around 400 users). In this role I managed a project team consisting of 3 actuaries and over 20 IT team members (business analysts, developers and testers) significantly reducing the turnover in the project team, delivering required business functionalities, and cutting the number of known issues by approximately 90% thus greatly improving user satisfaction ACTUARIAL PRICING AND UNDERWRITING • In order to round my pricing and underwriting experience I joined the the Marine Underwriting Desk in Singapore on a five-month rotation and was responsible for pricing of marine treaties from South Korean, Chinese and South-East Asian markets (Nov-Dec 2015), India (Jan-Feb 2016), and Japan (Mar 2016) out of the Tokyo office

Actuary • Pricing Tools • Product Owner (Assistant Vice President)

PRODUCT OWNERSHIP • For two years I acted as a Product Owner of Concert—a business-critical, treaty structuring and pricing application used globally by non-life underwriters, actuaries and client managers (around 1'000 users) processing around USD 14.4 billion in gross reinsurance premium per annum • As a project manager I led a team consisting of actuaries, developers and testers (4-6 FTEs) as well as seamlessly coordinated tool development with over ten other interfacing applications and systems, resulting in successful and timely completion of eight productive releases • In order to improve efficiency I initiated the restructuring of the project team, moved the development into a fully agile mode and led team members through this transition • I was collecting corporate and user requirements related to actuarial methods, graphical user interface, interfaces to other applications and systems, translating them into business specifications and working closely with the IT team during implementation and testing (regression testing, functional testing, end-to-end testing and user acceptance testing) • Finally, I led the stability and performance improvements initiative resulting in no outages during peak renewals ACTUARIAL PRICING AND UNDERWRITING • During 2014 peak renewals I joined the Marine Underwriting Desk in Singapore and was responsible for costing of reinsurance treaties and providing quotations to a lead underwriter with the main focus on the Chinese market • In between my pricing assignments with marine, I spent 2013 peak renewals supporting the Casualty Underwriting team in Beijing not only in costing reinsurance treaties covering motor and personal accident lines in South Korea and casualty lines in China, but also in reviewing contract wordings • Throughout the year I was providing ad-hoc support on pricing tools usage, modelling of complex structures and delivering structured two-day training sessions on the usage of Swiss Re’s core treaty pricing tool

BUSINESS ANALYSIS • As one of my first assignments at Swiss Re I was coordinating a major update of the interface between NatCat loss modelling and pricing applications (collecting requirements, writing specifications and testing the implementation) • Additionally, I performed a bi-annual review of the Reinsurance and Corporate Solutions pricing tools landscape BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT • As part of the Graduate Program I went on a rotation with the Business Development team in Zurich, where I was analysing annual reports of selected insurance companies in order to understand current and future clients’ needs and create new business opportunities for Swiss Re ACTUARIAL PRICING AND UNDERWRITING • During 2012 peak renewals I was responsible for analysing clients’ submission data, loss modelling and costing of reinsurance treaties for the Marine Underwriting team in Zurich, focusing on Northern and Southern Europe • With my programming knowledge I was successfully implementing actuarial methods in Java, while significantly improving the test coverage of Swiss Re’s in-house developed actuarial methods library
