With over 30 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication, I am the Owner/Operator of Oceanic Iron LLC, a company that provides custom design and fabrication, welder certification and maintenance, welder workmanship, third party inspection, quality audits, consulting, and technical subject matter expertise in advanced welding technology. I hold the Senior Certified Welding Inspector (SCWI) and Certified Welding Educator (CWE) credentials from the American Welding Society, as well as the Craft Instructor Welding certification and Curriculum operations Evaluator certification from NCCER. My mission is to provide fast-track and fully certified mobile welder training in support of our armed forces and its industrial base, while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. I have developed and delivered welding curriculum and training for various clients, including the U.S. Army, the U.S. Navy , Electric Boat, Amazon, SpaceX, GE Baker Hughes, KBR and other industrial companies. I have also worked on various base metal types, welding processes, thermal cutting techniques, and blueprint reading and interpretation, using my skills in metal fabrication, welding, maintenance and repair with proficient trade terminology.
