I am responsible for project resource, engineering delivery, tooling feasibility, Assy & Leather Trimming feasibility, material selection, supplier sourcing, supplier management, quality improvements, budget approval and sign off.

Leading a team of cross functional managers for BIW, Exterior & Interior, I am responsible for: > Ensuring robust engineering delivery, Surface feasibility, supplier sourcing & management, quality improvements, warranty reduction, project proposals, parts supply, & manufacturing liaison. > Manage conflict and issue resolution internal to the CoC and with the cross functional team. > Manage Centre of Competence programme health status using key programme metrics. > Lead and manage the Centre of Competence input to weekly Programme Steering Team and Vehicle Integration Team meetings and drive the team in the use of tools and processes to manage the completion of deliverables for programme unit gateways. > Work closely with other Centres of Competence, Product Strategy, Advanced Product Creation and Marketing to ensure the programme delivers the expected prescribed product actions in a robust manner. > Financial planning with respect to budget management and business case project planning and product cost estimating targets within vehicle programmes.

* Key Responsibilities * To ensure Body Engineering meets its Gateway deliverables in accordance to GPDS * To run Programme related CPE/CFE meetings to keep the Body management team up to speed with their status and actions * To work with the JLR Plant and NML teams during product launches. * To monitor and track suppliers with their programme commitments and drive towards PSW parts for build * To develop the direct reports within the Programme team and get the best from all the engineers delivering parts for build * To be an excellent communicator with excellent interpersonal skills under pressure from key customers * Primary relationships & interactions * Direct reporting responsibility to the Body Chief Engineer of Programmes. * Key responsibility to all the Chiefs within Body to keep them informed and to avoid all Body delivery error states. * To work with the CPE for each carline and to motivate the Body SM delivery team to achieve the programme objectives * To have and develop strong relationships with key suppliers and JLR plant based personnel at all levels
