Collapsed getting into my auto as I was leaving work at the end of April and found by my supervisor and the building superintendent four hours later. They called an ambulance which whisked me away to the hospital where I was poked and prodded and super-ray zapped for two weeks. At the end of it all I was informed I have cancer: two brain tumours, a lung tumour and a kidney tumour - none of which.can be removed by surgery. The lung tumour is stage 4 which means it's too developed to be removable and it will cause my death. That makes the other three tumours pretty much a non-issue in terms of a cure. The doctor who zapped the brain lesions estimates I will "shuffle off this mortal coil" six to twelve months after their discovery which means sometime in the first six months of 2015. Watch this space for updates. When I'm gone, donate to the Canadian Cancer Society in my name in lieu of flowers.
