Interfaced with business partners to prepare and update business process and software system requirements. Ensured all artifacts complied with corporate policies and guidelines. Coordinated IT Sarbanes-Oxley 2008 compliance activities, including creating IT process narratives, collecting required supporting evidence and conducting compliance walkthroughs. All business process updates complete allowing implementation of Health Savings Account (HSA) offering for all Kaiser Permanente health policies. Successfully passed 2008 Sarbanes-Oxley audit with no remediations required.

Business Analyst on engagement with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Involved in the Systems Development lifecycle (SDLC) of the Epi-X (developed in classic .asp) and PHIRE (.NET) outbreak notification systems. This included creating of conceptual designs, conducting JAD sessions with internal customers to review prototypes and developing iterations and unit and system tested initial application releases. Upon completion of development, conducted gap analysis and resolved issues to integrate into subsequent phased enhancements packages. Successfully launched CDC’s Epi-X system, which was used in notifications of H1N1 “bird flu” outbreaks in Asia in 2008. While ultimately discontinued in 2008 due to the proliferation of other methods of notification, the PHIRE system was valuable as a successful proof-of-concept for other .NET-based development efforts.

As a content manager, designed and produced web content for the EIS Portfolio group with both internally and externally facing websites (to make clear, this is front-end content and design, I am not a coder).
