Developed document control systems and trained LN staff to eliminate deficiencies that had been the cause of noncompliance, helping bring existing static security contracts back into compliance. Used SPOT administrative expertise to correct inconsistencies and inaccuracies in previously uploaded data.

Doubled productivity and re-established compliance in just 2 weeks for a contract that had been shut down for noncompliance prior to hire. Planned and managed secure transportation and movement of supplies to 120 Forward Operating Bases (FOBs) in Afghanistan for the U.S. Army and Coalition forces. Created staffing plan and implemented training programs for 24/7 Operations Center staff; supervised teams of up to 20 personnel comprised of U.S. expatriates, TCNs, and LNs. Saved money by bringing outsourced services in house, such as In-transit Visibility (ITV) monitoring; trained LN employees on the ITV system.

Worked for this company twice - 2010-2011; 2008-2009 Restructured operations in Afghanistan, creating efficient, results-focused organization positioned for business growth. Reorganized HR, Operations, and Logistics departments, implemented new programs and systems, and rewrote company policies and procedures. Produced significant profit in just 6 months by organizing and developing a contract response and proposal writing team that won more than 14 USG contracts -a dramatic increase for a company that had secured only 2 DoD contracts in the past. Traveled into some of the most dangerous areas of Afghanistan, including the high-threat regions of Helmand and Kandahar provinces, visiting sites to troubleshoot issues related to contract compliance.

As illustrated by entire overseas career in the Middle East, 2006-2012: Many years of experience working "outside the wire" in harsh or high threat conditions as a civilian in the Middle East: Afghanistan (4.5 yrs) and Iraq (1 yr). Proven experience writing, winning, and executing United States Government (USG) Department of Defense (DoD) contracts in transportation, construction, and security. Demonstrated skill interacting effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and military personnel, from enlisted soldiers to military officers and leaders at the highest levels. Adaptable to diverse cultures and environments; proven ability to train and manage a wide variety of individuals, including U.S. expats, local nationals (LNs) and third-country nationals (TCNs). Repeated success in the most challenging of circumstances pursuing and winning multimillion-dollar contracts and providing vision and leadership in policy, process, system, personnel, and organizational changes that dramatically increase compliance, efficiency, and profitability.

Gramercy Group Inc. was formed in 1989 and has since become one of the Nation's largest and fastest growing wrecking and environmental remediation and civil contractors. I joined the Gramercy team in March 2014 which was working on the Miramar Hotel and International Market Place Demolition Project. This work was completed in October 2014 and Gramercy is now performing environmental remediation and civil work on the International Market Place Revitalization. Gramercy also has demolition projects at other locations on Oahu.
