About

I’m Dr. Russell J. Ledet—physician-scientist, U.S. Navy veteran, social entrepreneur, and unapologetically human. From serving as a cryptologic technician in the military to guarding hospital doors as a security guard, my path to becoming a triple-board resident in Pediatrics, Adult Psychiatry, and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry has been anything but traditional. It’s this lived experience that fuels my mission: to build systems and stories that heal, inspire, and create access—especially for the communities that have historically been left behind. I’m the co-founder and Board Chair of The 15 White Coats, a nationally recognized nonprofit reshaping the future of healthcare through scholarships, storytelling, and cultural visibility. I also lead Ledet Global Enterprises, LLC, a consulting and mental health company supporting justice-involved youth, marginalized families, and institutions ready to lead with equity. My work lives at the intersection of medicine, mental health, media, and movement-building. Whether I’m speaking to Fortune 500 executives, mentoring future physicians, or designing culturally relevant mental health tools, the throughline is this: we can change the world—brick by brick. Providing electronic intelligence support to commands throughout the world. Tracking surface and airborne targets of interest to determine defensive maneuvers and tactics in case of attack. Operating state-of-the-art electronic receivers, signal modifiers, digital recording devices and associated peripherals in collection of airborne, shipborne, and land-based radar signals. Performing in-depth technical analysis of radar signals/systems to produce technical reports and briefs for operational facilities in the United States, Hawaii, Japan, Spain, Great Britain, Australia, and various remote sites throughout the world. Completed 2 tours at the National Security Agency- Fort Gordon, Georgia.
