I am part of a team responsible for engineering, production, purification, QC, as well as analytical and functional testing of biomolecules including proteins and RNA lipid nanoparticles.

I am part of a team developing innovative biomolecule drugs to treat disease. My team's focus is on the purification, formulation, QC, and develop-ability assessment of proteins to support research operations at NGM.

I am a graduate student studying structural biology and biochemistry. I use numerous biochemical and computational techniques including cryo electron microscopy (single particle TEM), X ray crystallography, and various computational techniques to study the structure and function of proteins. I am also working towards proficiency in micro electron diffraction, computational protein engineering (Rosetta), and molecular dynamics simulation. I code in python and have taken it upon myself to study data science and deep learning as well. I TA the biophysics 463 class and am passionate about mentorship. I am very proud to have trained a number of very successful undergraduate students, some of which are now pursuing their own PhDs and MDs.

Academic research using computational protein engineering methods to study rationally designed mutants of the enzyme purine nucleoside phosphorylase. I performed numerous enzyme assays and HPLC analysis of enzymatic reaction products. I also gained proficiency in expression vector design, mutagenesis, cloning, E.coli culture, protein expression, purification, and quantification, as well as uv-vis spectroscopy and kinetic enzyme assays optimization.
