• Characterize image sensor performance with hands-on opto-electronic testing, and pixel array image analysis algorithms. • Write bench testing software such as Python scripts for data acquisition and analysis. • Analyze data and report finding using statistical data analysis methods.

• Analyzed performance of several RFID tags to support research objective of developing a computational RFID system that provided wireless pump monitoring. • Designed and interpreted properties of different UHD RFID antennas using Keysight ADS software. • Assembled an energy harvesting development kit for testing battery-free wireless sensors.

Perry Honors College Undergraduate Research and Creativity Grant Program • Designed and builds an HD radio receiver using Software Defined Radio platforms and open source software • Conducted theoretical research on HD radio standard and SDR platforms as alternatives • Pursued original research and creative work under the mentorship of a faculty member • Presented poster at the undergraduate research symposium 2021

• Collaborated in a water supply distribution system project that will deliver clean water to the community of La Reforma in Guatemala • Guided a group of five students and a mentor in the assessment trip to Guatemala- Spring Break 2019 gather all technical and logistical data needed for the design of the project • Presented project to companies, college departments and applies for grants to fundraise the $112, 818,24 needed for the project • Organized team building and recruiting events

• Collaborated with experienced team members to assist on high voltage equipment specification, system reliability performance database management, and electric transmission line engineering support • Developed a 15+ page bushing management guide that lays out the foundation and structure for a spare bushing program for the Electric Transmission Reliability Department • Integrated a spare parts list to improve managing of emergency supply of materials at Dominion Energy’s storage yard in Petersburg, VA • Analyzed over 1900 transformer circuits drawings to assess discrepancies with respect to their respective substation number • Learned and utilized VBA for better data management • Became familiarized with Bentley’s software

• Tutors a wide range of classes such as calculus I-III, Ordinary Differential Equations, and sometimes electrical engineering classes • Conducts group and one-to-one tutoring sessions for college students • Develops academic strategies to deliver complex problems more understandable

Funded by National Science Foundation • Interpreted current applications of quantum cryptography to cybersecurity and critical infrastructure in space communications domestic and international • Participated with graduate and PhD students to present findings and quantum cryptography information to other faculty professors • Studied Mathematica to analyze the steady state Berloff Asymptotic equations • Acquired knowledge of research methods and attended weekly leadership events • Published research paper at ODU’s undergraduate research journal with more than 65 downloads worldwide • Produced poster expected to be presented at the next possible ODU Undergraduate Research Symposium
