Bakken Medical Device Center to develop solutions for Aged-Macular Degeneration patients. • Developing a VR software for reading using Python, OpenCV library and Unity Platform that would remap the text around the patient’s scotoma through eye-tracking capabilities of Oculus headset.

Neuromodulation Research and Technologies Lab – Undergraduate Researcher

• Researching with the Neuromodulation Technology & Research Laboratory under Dr. Johnson, focusing on developing a wearable sensor health solution that can assess balance characteristics in people with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) • Used Python and its frameworks (Numpy, Pandas, TensorFlow, MatPlotLib) to create a Neural Network Algorithm that would predict UPDRS scores from wearable sensor data while practicing Feature Engineering and Signal Processing techniques

• Researched with the BioSensing and BioRobotics Laboratory under Dr. Kodandaramaiah, working on the Spatial Transcriptomics project that automates microinjections in single cells • Trained YOLOv5 object detection model to automate cell detection and conduct robotic microinjections via single cell transcriptomic profiling
Software Product Sprint Program
• Collaborated with a team of peers to design and implement a web application using Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS over the course of 10 weeks, leveraging various Google Cloud Platform APIs, including App Engine and Datastore. • Practiced industry best practices such as: contributing to open source software using Git and GitHub, conducting code reviews, participating in distributed development, designing new components and interfaces, and leading them to completion. • For the Team Project, created the UI/UX for a web application that tracks the work life of a Student and encourages beneficial habits be inculcated using Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Datastore.
