Responsible for assisting the Minister in executing political agenda within government and at public events, while coordinating the Minister’s very rigorous Ottawa schedule. Ensured Ministerial operations were efficiently handled from scheduling and making strategic political decisions to briefing and providing Minister with appropriate resources. Facilitated the needs of Directors and Advisors as they pertained to the Minister to ensure office operated at the highest level possible. Responsible for writing correspondence to other Ministers, MPs, and relevant stakeholders.

Assisted the Stakeholder Relations department in creating and maintaining strategic relationships with public and private stakeholders. Working closely with a team of experienced directors and advisors, helped coordinate stakeholder initiatives in the offices of Members of Parliament and Cabinet Ministers while supporting long term PMO and government policies. Specific tasks included building a database of stakeholders to further promote policy objectives, rigorous research to aid advisors and directors, and compiling and analyzing information to create products aimed at helping political offices and organizations in their strategic planning.

Worked with a small team specializing in digital and telecommunications to provide political strategies for conservative campaigns. Effectively combined written, oral, and digital techniques to offer creative solutions. Hired and managed a group of 25 employees in a communications center, coordinated fundraising efforts, and was responsible for analyzing information to create effective strategies. Reporting to central campaigns required ability to critically assess the ideas of others and challenge others when necessary.

Formulated a communications plan, including scripts and literature, aimed at persuading voters. Required effectual communications, in-depth analysis of data, and rigorous research of policies. Assisted in managing and training over 30 employees and collaborated with staff to develop effective campaigning strategies.

Consulted with various organizations in Cochrane, Alberta as part of the award-winning Cochrane Sustainability Plan. Responsible for researching and promoting innovative solutions regarding cultural awareness and urban planning. Ideas were published to promote community involvement.
