Product Market Expansion: Built and deployed automated KYB capabilities (commercial registers/UBO and shareholder mapping and verification) in DE and NL, significantly reducing manual verification time. The automation is expected to bring down the unit cost for onboarding legal entities by ~50% compared to legacy process. 2. Product Innovation: Led the end-to-end development and launch of the Omnibus account structure, capturing the professional customer segment and securing the first Dutch anchor client. 3. Operational Excellence: Modernized "self-serve" data infrastructure via API enhancements, automating routine changes and reclaiming 240 manual hours/year for the Operations team.

Building Solaris' platform for evaluation of Credit Risk for all types of secured and unsecured lending products across all markets. Key features of the platform include 1. Deployment and real-time execution of credit risk models. 2. Integrations with credit bureaus per market (e.g. Schufa, Experian etc). 3. Integrations with PSD2 AIS services for non-bureau data. 4. Context-aware credit risk evaluation.

Responsible for a real-time decision engine which enabled compliance for all Klarna products globally. Also responsible for the interface that operations staff used to action cases which needed manual review. Initiated multiple PoCs which used generative AI using OpenAI to improve efficiency and accuracy of manual processes. Led the team of engineers and analysts which is responsible for a decision engine which enabled compliance of Klarna's products globally to regulations in the Anti Money Laundering (AML) space. The product was extensively localized owing to a variation of regulations across markets and products. The products in scope included the real-time consumer onboarding process for the core 'Buy Now Pay Later' business globally as well as the onboarding process for the bank accounts in the German market. Also in scope were bank transfers within the SEPA region. I was also responsible for the interface which Klarna's internal operations staff used to work on alerts and cases which required manual intervention. The goal of the product was to make the manual review process as time efficient and accurate as possible. I played a pivotal role in initiating proofs of concepts which used a mix of machine learning and generative AI using the OpenAI platform to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the manual reviews. Some of these PoCs are now in the pipeline for implementation in the production environment. Key responsibilities included the following: 1. Setting the mission and vision. 2. Aligning with stakeholders across the company and aligning the roadmap of the team in the context of organization wide goals. 3. Owning the P&L of the product and setting the budget for the team considering the roadmap. 4. Check-ins with the consumers/users of the products to collect feedback and to facilitate continuous improvement of the product offering.

Responsible for the product which offered capabilities in the Anti Money Laundering (AML) space through real-time screening capabilities. Offered features included screening against the relevant sanctions and Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) lists and jurisdiction risk lists in real time whenever a consumer used any of Klarna's products. The productis available in all Klarna markets globally and is localized to each jurisdiction. The product facilitated screening of consumers in real-time during onboarding, screening of relevant details whenever a consumer used Klarna's products as well as screening individual bank transfers initiated within the SEPA area.

Part of the team responsible for financial crime prevention in Klarna. Closely work with group compliance to ensure Klarna is compliant in the different markets it operates in and any gaps identified are addressed ASAP. Contributions include the following: 1. Development of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) risk scoring model for Klarna's B2C and B2B consumers. 2. Maintenance, optimisation and validation of Klarna's name matching algorithms used for it's AML programme. 3. Dashboarding of forecasts for operations team.

Summer internship in a product management aligned role in the Europe Direct Custody and Clearing Product team within Securities Services. Work package involved performing the cost/benefit analysis of one of the key products of the business in Spain, Italy, Switzerland and France which required frequent communication with the respective branches. Additionally, worked with the marketing team and the product development team to formulate the marketing message for a revamped product line.

MBA Consulting project on the business scope of establishing a Connected and Autonomous Vehicle (CAV) testbed in an urban location in the United Kingdom. Work package involved: • Comparison of the CAV testing infrastructure in UK with that of Australia, Canada, USA and mainland Europe and identifying any exiting gaps. • Analysis of CAV testbeds in the UK to understand if location (rural vs urban vs city) plays and important role in the success of a testbed.

I was part of the Credit Risk Decision Systems (part of the bigger RBWM umbrella) team working out of the Global Analytics Centre in Kolkata, India and supporting the UK retail business of HSBC. The job involved working on SAS, Experian's SMg3, QlikView among other statistical, analytical and decisioning tools to implement and deliver retail risk strategies for HSBC's retail business in the UK. The job also required frequent communication and liaising with cross functional teams working out of varied geographical locations. I also worked extensively on new risk strategies involving machine learning algorithms as proofs of concept implementations and participated in Kaggle competitions.

As part of my job, I communicated and liaised with teams and individuals working out of Egypt, France, USA, Mexico, Brazil, Australia and South Africa on a daily basis to ensure seamless monitoring and troubleshooting of Oracle’s datacentres, located all over the world. Additionally, I serviced and supported the cloud infrastructure of major Fortune 500 companies in a 24X7 environment in order to maintain very high availability of the services.
