Ricky Henneh MSc, MPH

I hold a Master of Science in Water Supply Engineering and Management, where I specialized in water treatment processes, distribution systems, source water development, hydraulics, environmental microbiology, GIS and remote sensing, environmental impact assessment, and utility management. My academic training provided both technical depth and systems-level understanding of urban and rural water supply operations.With an undergraduate background in Science Laboratory Technology, majoring in Analytical Chemistry, I developed strong competencies in laboratory analysis, quality control, and chemical and microbiological assessment of water systems. This laboratory foundation strengthens my current role in water quality monitoring, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation.I am currently pursuing a Master of Public Health to broaden my expertise in epidemiology, health systems, and disease prevention. This complements my engineering background by strengthening my understanding of how water quality influences population health outcomes. My professional interests include WASH programming, water safety planning, environmental health risk assessment, and utility governance.My long term objective is to contribute to high impact WASH initiatives, infrastructure development projects, and public health programs within consulting firms, multilateral agencies, and development institutions. I am particularly interested in roles that integrate technical engineering solutions with measurable health and community outcomes.I am open to collaboration, consulting engagements, and interdisciplinary research in water quality management, environmental health, and sustainable utility systems.
