Providing a range of architectural duties including design, project management & production for high end luxury car dealerships using all applicable codes and bylaws to navigate both the site plan approval process and building permit process and through to construction and all aspects of the contract administration process. In the design and working drawing process, I have extensive knowledge of AutoCAD and how to set up projects of all sizes to add to the efficiency of project time. During the construction and contract administration phase, I've been involved in the site instruction and change order process, site reports/meetings, shop drawings review/coordination and certificates of payment.

Duties included producing working drawings as part of a team for various small scale residential, commercial and industrial projects under the direction of the principal architect.

Client interaction with public/private partnerships, government authorities and the ruling Sheikh of Sharjah, U.A.E., accounts management, business development and office management. Responsible for coordinating emails and document management on several concurrent projects in order to provide direction to designers and production staff in China and Toronto. Communicated with clients to realize their goals and special requirements for final presentation of project concepts. Duties and responsibilities associated with a range of projects were as follows: project management, master planning, concept design, presentation packages, client meetings, design and construction coordination meetings and contract negotiations.

Duties included project set up, job captain/team leader for working drawings and day to day design, planning and problem solving in a very fast paced high volume environment.

Duties included direct contact with clients & consultants, project set-up, job captain/team leader for working drawings and graphic aids (i.e. 3D models, 3D renderings & animations, presentation materials etc.) required by the client, contract administration, site reports, deficiency lists and day to day design, planning and problem solving in a very fast paced high volume environment. In addition, as part of the CAD management team I assisted in the creation of CAD standards for office implementation to improve the consistency and efficiency of our drawings.

Working with their architectural/turn-key department my duties included conceptual office designs (buildings & interior layouts) for both Husky and outside clients in a very high paced high volume environment. Provided Husky with site proposal drawings, open office concepts for both renovation and new construction and productions drawings for new interior layouts.

Provided them with the working drawings for the covering of the orchestra pit at Mirvish Theatre for the musical “Rent”, as well as for several other projects. Taught staff members fundamental and intermediate AutoCAD usage to increase the speed and efficiency of production drawings

Duties included providing L.F.P. with fire safety plans of residential apartments and commercial buildings on AutoCAD for review by the Chief Fire Safety Inspector of the appropriate municipality.
