As a Business Excellence Officer at ARLANXEO (a subsidiary of Saudi Aramco), I combine my engineering background with strong data and statistical modeling skills to drive process improvement and strategic planning. I support Integrated Business Planning (IBP), KPI tracking, and operational insights. By translating complex business processes into clear, data-driven visualizations, I try to help teams across the organization to make informed, impactful decisions.

As a Chemelot Management Trainee, I am involved in three different positions for three different companies on the Chemelot Industrial site in Sittard-Geleen. These three positions involved both technical/engineering jobs, as well as non-technical ones.

In this role, being part of the Chemelot Management Traineeship, I have been employed in a process engineering role. This role was aimed at an environmental project to investigate how to best reduce emissions to the environment to keep compliant with environmental legislation. In this role I have worked together with technical experts within the plant but I also had contact with suppliers and external experts. I have led an RCA investigation with respect to PM emissions

Demand Planning for a wide range of rubber portfolio, within the EMEA region. Implementing a new way of working and developing tools to support the demand planning process. During this role I had a lot of contact between global demand planning, local sales, account management, supply planning and production.

Creating insight in production losses across the full SABIC Geleen site and developing a tool for all stakeholders to analyze these losses (from daily operations to management). Also evaluating the exact process of production loss allocation and suggesting improvements. Came into contact with statistical process control, FMEA and Root Cause Analysis as well. In collaboration with Asset Performance Engineering

For the accreditation of the Master's program in Biobased Materials at Maastricht University I have been part of the assessment panel. Such a panel requires a student member. All educational programs in the Netherlands (and Flanders) are visited regularly by such panels to assess the quality of education.

As Program Committee member, it is your job to critically follow the developments in education at the department. Furthermore, course evaluations and improvements are discussed in the program committee.

In this role I was the tutor for three groups of 10 students for the course Applied Natural Sciences at the Eindhoven University of Technology. During tutor hours, the students could ask questions to me about what they have studied that week. I learned them strategic ways to solve typical problems within this course.

Full time board year for the study association for students of the department of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry. This meant being the connection between students and educational management. In this role I did my best to serve the interests of all students and improve education.
