I specialize in location work involving people: photojournalism, environmental portraiture, photoessays and photomosaics. My photography regularly appears in numerous national publications, annual reports and commercial venues. Clients include Zurich Financial, Anadarko Petroleum, Casey Family Foundation, Nike, Sports Illustrated, Safeco Insurance, Golf Digest, BHP Billiton, Time Magazine, Forbes, Puget Sound Energy, and National Geographic. I am a storyteller. My medium is photography. Most of my professional life has been dedicated to journalism and portraiture, but over the past 10 years I have increasingly focused my energies on art, specializing in complex stitched panoramas and cubist photomosaics. I was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize in 1983.
