I am the Director of the London International Youth Science Forum (LIYSF). Detailed work and experience within the academic and commercial sectors with cross-overs in both sectors. I have a passion for science education, communication and outreach. I believe that we need to do more to encourage young science interested students around the world and deliver more support and opportunities. I have a varied background and interest in science, education, economics and society. I have a Bachelor’s degree in law and qualifications in Human Anatomy and Physiology, with a keen interest in Maths, Technology and Biology. I have judged at many national and international science competitions worldwide and have been invited to give lectures on science communication, outreach and education internationally. I work remotely from Barcelona. I am in London on monthly basis.

I have a varied background and ability to deal well with all types of people, ranging from political figures, commercial directors, University academics, teachers, students, businesses and a wide range of clients. Very good communication, presentation skills and business planning skills. Highly skilled communicator with 5 years+ experience of being in charge of a very prestigious international science event attracting 500 students from 65 countries worldwide. Comfortable with both public speaking and writing for a wide variety of audiences. Since 2008 I have overseen a great expansion in international representation. Managed move to hosting the event at one of the most prestigious Science Universities in the world, Imperial College London.
