Q-Free is one of the leading Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) technology providers in the world, covering industries such as Electronic Toll Collection (ETC), Road User Charging (RUC), Car Parks and vehicle cooperating and communication systems, amongst others. Richard joined Q-Free with a two-fold mission: maintaining the existing projects already deployed in the Australian market mode and progressing the business further into new spaces and prospective clients: Managed a portfolio of projects, which included all Support & Maintenance systems and new projects to be delivered from inception to completion Managed infrastructure engineers, testers and software development (Agile and Waterfall) teams using a PRINCE2 approach. Acted as Scrum Master for the development team. Norkom is one of the world leaders in Anti-money laundering, anti-fraud software solutions providers. In Norkom Technologies, Richard was tasked with improving the customer service and experience for one of the critical clients: the Bank of Montreal (BMO): Responsible for the implementation and development of the anti-debit card solution for the Bank of Montreal, based on Norkom’s suite of mass-processing information tools. Responsible for reporting, all communications, stakeholder management and implementation of the program management and control disciplines for the project, which extended over a period of one year in Canada and was successfully deployed in May 2008. In charge of scope and requirements gathering, subsequently overseeing the tool customization (Scenario Manager) and testing regime Responsible for the integration with BMO’s set of IBM’s in-house applications and testing regime Responsible for the integration with BMO’s set of IBM’s in-house applications (Websphere and DB2)

Dell designs, develops, manufactures, sells, and supports a wide range of hardware and software products, including desktops, laptops, servers, storage devices, networking equipment, and peripherals. In addition to its hardware offerings, Dell provides IT consulting services, cloud computing solutions, and cybersecurity services. Known for its direct sales model and customizable configurations, Dell has a strong presence in both consumer and enterprise markets globally. I joined Dell with a combined mission as a Project manager to enhance and maintain the existing portal infrastructure and development and at the same time promote changes towards a more agile and interactive customer experience: • Project management of multiple projects at all stages of the project lifecycle (from initiation to implementation), defined as “quick impacts” for the Premier Pages (corporate private portal) for EMEA • Drive scope and requirements gathering, option analysis and design of end-to-end business processes & business solutions • Effective application of project governance & active engage stakeholders at all levels • Successfully implemented a new testing scheme with included the creation of a new UAT infrastructure.

The company offers a comprehensive portfolio of solutions and services, ranging from consulting and outsourcing to software development, systems integration, and managed services. I joined Indra as a Project Manager initially in the Transport market, to later move on to the defence sector: • Designed, budgeted, resourced and deployed a full Customer Information system for the High Speed Rail. The system was based on a ground-breaking design, using the same principles as the Digital Television, using video and sound streamed to a Set Top Box. • Managed the third-party subcontractors and vendors involved in the above project • Effective application of project governance & active engage stakeholders at all levels • Tendered, designed and negotiated the contract for the new Botswana Air Defence System • In charge of the ground installation, budgeting, communication and integration of the Botswana Air Defence System with the back office presentation layer • General responsibility over great part of the bids Indra presented in the defence space during my tenure.

I co-founded Desenet with a number of other partners, with the aim to create a technologically advanced platform to develop solutions based on new technologies, such as mobile location, PUSH/PULL SMS, targeted marketing, etc: • Designed, commissioned and established the whole servers, communications, storage and external links required for Desenet’s field of operation • Managed and negotiated vendors agreement for Desenet’s external services, such as SMPP (SMS platform), VPN’s, etc. • Project Managed the complete revamping of subscribers provisioning solutions of top-tier telecommunication companies in Spain, such as ONO and Telefonica Mobiles • Project Managed the ISP complete provisioning solution for ONO, including the FTP, WEB and Email services • In charge of defining the strategic growth and line of business of Desenet

Thales IS is one of the leading IT and Defence Consultancy companies in the world, with over 50,000 employees and covering numerous markets and industries. Its biggest strength lies in their defence sector; I joined Thales mainly to manage the design and deployment of enhancements to the existing integral mobile system for Unifon, the main mobile provider in Argentina, being responsible for the Mobile Exchanger (MX) and Roaming modules. After that, I moved into new projects and initiatives: Full responsibility over the deployment of the SMS service for Unifon (Telefonica Mobiles Argentina) Responsibility over the resourcing and budgeting for the MX and Roaming modules. Tendering, design and deployment of the new Trunking system for Telefonica Mobile Argentina Responsible for the design and implementation of the new mail server system for telecommunication companies such as wanadoo and Jazztel, including hardware and software provisioning and configuration.
