I assisted the professor in explaining basic fluid principles and theories to students to improve their understanding of each experiment. I also supported students with experimental procedures and written lab reports.

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at R-V Industries, Inc. I performed stress, force, pressure and thermal calculations as part of the ASME Pressure Vessel Division of the company. Customer supplied drawings and work orders were approved or enhanced for manufacturing based on ASME Codes. Other responsibilities included working with a design team to formulate cost efficient yet durable loading equipment for an innovative steam sterilizer design. I was able to help present this equipment to the corporate managers and sales department to have it approved for manufacturing. Extensive drawing and modeling practice using AutoCAD and SolidWorks was utilized for the design as well as for tolerance and fitting calculations.
