* Steam turbine engineer (mechanical). As a field engineer and project manager, I'm responsible for providing technical direction and solutions regarding a customer's turbine and/or turbine systems. I have recently worked in primarily the fossil industry, but have an extensive background in nuclear as well. In addition, I've also worked in paper mills, natural gas-fired turbines, and general industrial sites. * Responsibilities include, but not limited to: * Maintaining a safe and productive work environment * Managing outage and job schedules * Directing manpower * Coordinating projects with several independent contractors simultaniously * Technical troubleshooting and support for turbine operations and maintenance

* As a superintendent, I was in direct control of manpower on steam and gas turbine projects mainly within the fossil fuel industry. I also managed work schedules in conjunction with project managers to successfully accomplish outages on schedule. * Responsibilities include: * Direct control over manpower * Maintaining a safe and productive work environment * Completing payroll and hiring of manpower * Working with union representatives and business agents to successfully man projects * Working with General Electric project managers to accomplish maintenance outages, troubleshooting etc.

* As a craft millwirght, I provided labor for nuclear steam turbine outages around the United States. The skills required were provided by the local union hall and include; precision measurements, complex rigging, extensive safety training (OSHA 10, OSHA 16), coupling alignment, Hytorc, gas and steam turbine specific training, crane certifications, etc. * Responsibilities include: * Working through inclement conditions * Managing small crews through diverse and complex mechanical issues in an ever-changing environment * Managing job schedules and organizing manpower * Working directly with a supervisor to achieve outage success in scheduling, safety, and quality

During my time in the United States Naval Special Warfare Command I was responsible for maintaining unit boats mechanically, operating radar systems, familiar with weapons systems, and boat operation. In my position I was cross-trained to fulfill any and all positions on my patrol boat, including but not limited to the responsibilities listed above.
