Richard Koh has 4 decades of industry experience in Infocomm (ICT), Banking/Treasury (Foreign Exchange), eCommerce and Tech startups across Asia Pacific with JPMorgan, Standard Chartered Bank and PwC.He was the Founder/Group CEO of M-DAQ Global, a Singapore home-grown capital markets financial technology startup founded in Nov 2009 until May 2025 where he transitioned into a Non-executive Chairman role focusing on governance in order to embark on a full-time PhD in Business (General Management) and teach full-time MBA + B.Bus as an Adjunct Associate Professor. M-DAQ group is supported by Singapore Economic Development Board, Enterprise Singapore and licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.M-DAQ Global started with S$1,000 in paid-up capital and went thru 4 institutional rounds of fund-raising in 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2021 - with a total paid-up capital of S$213 million and with over 300 staff across Asia Pacific.M-DAQ’s guaranteed FX rate solution won in the open category at the inaugural MAS Fintech awards in 2016. M-DAQ also won the top prize in the inaugural SG:Digital Techblazers award organised by Infocomm and Media Development Authority (IMDA) and SGTech in Nov 2018. It also won the coveted Best Technology Company To Work For biennial award by Singapore Computer Society (SCS) in Jul 2019.
