I performed analysis on various patient-related data for Cooper University Health Care's Accountable Care Organization (ACO) focusing on Medicare patients, their visitation habits, and the cost and quality of care. Duties included downloading and formatting raw text files from the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and preparing claims data for ACO leadership. I also created a temporary database using SQLite to manage raw CMS claims data files and provide tables that could be queried against for mining the claims data.

I was a part-time tutor at the community college, tutoring Principles of Macroeconomics (ECON 201), Principles of Microeconomics (ECON 202) and Statistics (MATH 240).

* I performed analysis of internet usage data collected from survey participants (data captured by monitoring * software) or data provided by client companies. I gained hands-on experience with Greenplum and Microsoft * SQL.

MOS 3043: Supply Administration and Operations Clerk Honorably Discharged I performed tasks in the supply and logistics field including processing requisitions for supplies and equipment; receiving and storing supplies and equipment (including perishables and hazardous materials), as well as distribution; and, disposal of surplus and expended supplies and equipment. All of these tasks were based on following Marine Corps Supply and Logistics policies as prescribed by the Marine Corps Orders 4400-series, using physical documentation as well as automated inventory systems for inputting, posting and tracking the status of orders. I developed the administrative and management skills in order to maintain the inventory records for the supplies and equipment of a multi-million dollar, battalion level unit and customer service skills from working with both military and civilian personnel. Other duties included Inspector - Instructor Staff duties at a Reserve Marine unit.

I worked in the Internal Revenue Service’s Statistics of Income (SOI) Division in the Corporate Returns Analysis Section (https://www.irs.gov/uac/soi-tax-stats-corporation-tax-statistics). My primary responsibilities included performing statistical analysis on corporate income tax returns, building statistical tables for publication for the general public as well as detailed, specific analysis for other government agencies and private sector clients. Other tasks included performing data quality analysis to ensure validity and consistency with data, creating technical instructions for data processors to ensure consistency and correctness of the entry of sample data, and performing error resolution of sample data. I gained experience with large, complex data sets using Oracle SQL and Microsoft Excel as my primary analytical tools to analyze both in-sample and population data sets, as well as using SAS and R for more detailed statistical analysis.

* I worked in the Annuities and Insurance section (VAIS) where I processed monetary and administrative * transactions to client annuity contracts. These transactions included deposits, withdrawals, transfers and 1035 * Exchanges based on client requests. Accounts varied in wealth amount and complexity, and included high net * value corporate contracts for employees and multi-million dollar trust accounts. * I gained experience with financial market procedures and processes in regards to the buying and selling of * stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. * MILITARY EXPERIENCE

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) is the principal fact-finding agency for the Federal Government in the broad field of labor economics and statistics. The BLS is an independent national statistical agency that collects, processes, analyzes, and disseminates essential statistical data to the American public, the U.S. Congress, other Federal agencies, State and local governments, business, and labor. The BLS also serves as a statistical resource to the Department of Labor.BLS data must satisfy a number of criteria, including relevance to current social and economic issues, timeliness in reflecting today's rapidly changing economic conditions, accuracy and consistently high statistical quality, and impartiality in both subject matter and presentation.

* I worked in the Current Employment Statistics, State and Area division (http://www.bls.gov/sae/). My primary responsibilities included performing qualitative and quantitative analysis of survey data collected for employment, wages earned, and hours worked on assigned state and metropolitan statistical areas (MSAs). I used various software platforms, including SAS, R, and Microsoft Office suite. Other duties include responding to information requests from within and outside the agency via phone and email * maintaining and updating the State and Area division intranet website * providing training for new employees to the division * creating and maintaining documentation * creating and analyzing employee surveys for the division * and, working with a database management team with regards to the processing of micro level data and the generation of monthly estimates.
