I have been a Chartered Accountant working in public practice for more than 30 years. My areas of expertise include providing business and taxation advice to high income earners and small to medium owner operated businesses, with a particular focus on family businesses across a diverse range of industry groups. In July 2022 I left Findex and embarked on my own journey in Hoult Business Services Pty Ltd. RESPONSIBLE FOR: Leading, managing and supporting the Business Services team. KEY FUNCTIONS: Clients:  Develop effective on-going relationships with clients and professionally deal with their needs and queries, always ensuring exceptional client service standards.  Provide high level business, financial and/or taxation advice to clients, and review client files and correspondence as required. Financial:  Grow Business Services earnings, and refer work to other business units.  Develop, manage and report on the Business Services budget.  Maximise the financial performance of the business unit - the efficient conversion of production to WIP to billings.  Oversee the management of debtor collection and write offs. People and Culture:  Ensure all team members are provided with the appropriate opportunities for learning and development.  Encourage high performance by providing relevant timely feedback, recognising good performance, and addressing performance issues as they arise.
