Spent a month's work experience from university working on the monthly cricket magazine. I provided articles for both the published magazine and their website during the stint, as well as researching for a larger feature written by another staff member.

Responsible for inputting accurate, detailed ball-by-ball analysis into the back-end system, producing live analysis from county cricket grounds across the Midlands on matchdays. Also fulfilled the same role covering international cricket both in England and abroad, including an Ashes Test Match at Trent Bridge, the 2014 Twenty20 World Cup qualifying tournament in Abu Dhabi, the 2015 World Cup qualifying tournament in New Zealand, and the 2014 Under 19 World Cup in Dubai.

Worked on a new football betting website, launched in the summer 2011. Initially my role was as Championship correspondent, where I was solely responsible for all sections for the division, including providing match previews, up-to-date team news, news stories and relevent statistics. I also provided occasional betting advice pieces, and features and interviews on clubs in the division. During the summer 2012, I was promoted to a content management role alongside my Championship responsibilities. This includes sub-editing and publishing content from our team of writers using the Content Management System, writing more features from a betting perspective, as well as attracting readers through Twitter and Facebook.

After applying during my time at university, was offered a role as a staff writer on a new football previews website. I was initially responsible for providing a match preview for one Football league fixture per week, but eventually the workload was increased to two or three previews per week. After several months, I became an editor on the website, where responsibilities become sub-editing writers' work, publishing the content, arranging previews on the homepage, as well as scheduling the workload for the staff writers.

Provide support for the busy Waste Management office at Nottingham City Council, covering a wide array of duties ranging from basic administration tasks to undertaking disciplinary investigations and providing regular statistical analysis for the operational manager.
