Responsible for all Material related activities for 5 Juarez Plants including external cross-docking and warehousing, Pre-production and Bill-of-Material set-up & Engineering Change Mgmt., Customer & Supplier Releasing & Demand Mgmt., Material Planning & Scheduling, Material Procurement, Inventory Mgmt. & Control, Premium Freight, & Obsolescence Mgmt., and Service order Fulfillment. Played a key leadership role in the reduction of inventory, trailer fleet, premium freight, obsolescence, and OT (25%+ improvement), provided departmental and organizational leadership through tough economic times and major product in-sourcing initiatives, and built a strong Materials Team of functional experts that has positioned Mexican Trim Operations for future success.

Provided leadership in the launch of a dedicated engineering center to manage all new product launches and to continuously improve design and sew processes. Worked with team to improve launch APQP process and launch management execution.

Led a dedicated workforce which drove improvements at this site including an almost 100% improvement in inventory turns and trailer fleet reduction and a minimimization of premium freight through a significant improvement in demand management and supplier team-building.

Responsible for Pre-production & Bill-of-Material, Customer & Supplier Releasing, & Obsolescence areas. Played a major role in the implementation of over 35 system enhancements to improve material operations and material flow and provided leadership that played a key role in reducing inventory by 33% and assisted in the development of several current leaders.

Led 10 employees in the set-up of Bill-of-Materials and Co-ordination of Engineering Changes to ensure an efficient material flow. Played a key role in supporting the growth of the Favesa organization through co-ordinating the transfer of all remaining BOM & Pre-production responsibilities from Chesterfield, MI and development of launch and engineering change processes during my time in this position.

Interfaced with design, process, and packaging engineering on active and future programs in order to ready plant for new Program Launches and Engineering Changes. Passion and commitment shown on conversion to Division-wide Manufacturing Management System (CMMS) and initial transfer of pre-production and BOM responsibilities from Ford, Chesterfield.

Managed a Department of 650 employees in Materials and Cutting Areas and responsible for $16M in Finished Goods and Raw Material Inventory at the biggest Lear Trim Plant in the world. Helped to drastically reduce premium freight and detention costs while reducing inventory levels since entering the plant, instrumental in leading through some of the most important and difficult launches in the organization's history.
