* Miakoda Designs Ltd is an Architectural Technology practice working mostly in the housing sector for various premium house builders. Role Requirements: * Production of full working drawing packages from planning stages for multiple clients. * Ensure all projects are designed to correspond with the relevant building regulations. * Ensure I have an understanding of NHBC, Lifetime Homes, and client specific standards and implement where required. * Maintain and continue to develop my knowledge of construction technology. * Speak with engineers and clients on a regular basis and maintaining a good relationship. Achievements: * Completing full working drawings packages for multiple phases of developments. * Learning a new software package. * Assisting the implementation of AutoCAD into the company. * Successful completion of full working drawing package for a block of 40 flats in 1 month to assist the client in achieving early sales targets. * Expanded construction technology knowledge significantly. * Working with minimal supervision, creating relationships with clients and consultants

* Kevin Prior is a Surveyor who works within the Oxfordshire area on smaller scale extensions and re-developments. * Role Requirements: * Drawing up hand drawn surveys provided by Kevin Prior into a digital format. * Using surveys to produce development schemes as per the clients’ requests. * Clear and concise communication between myself and Kevin due to time constraints and working locations. * Achievements: * Creation of multiple surveys required for small scale developments including various public houses, and offices.

* SGM Management & Design is a project management & design practice. My role is with the Costa Coffee project team. * Role Requirements: * Project managing shopfit projects from from shell and core completion through to trade. * Controlling budgets, programmes, and design. * Liaising with main contractors & landlords both commercial and private to negotiate unit specifications. * Working with contractors and clients to maintain brand standards. * Conducting measured surveys of units. * Attending meetings at key stages throughout each project to review programme, costs, and design. * Working with the design team to ensure their designs are suitable as I am required to be their eyes on the ground as the design team rarely visit sites. * Managing multiple projects in various stages with project times varying from 6months to 12 weeks from instruction. * Monitoring building control and planning processes for each site to assess impacts on project programmes.

* Role Requirements: * Production of CAD drawings from hand sketches and surveys. * Assisting and undertaking my own surveys. * Working closely with senior staff member to develop drawings for client presentation, planning and construction purposes. * Achievements: * Started to use AutoCAD in a working environment. * Began using building regulations effectively and learning general construction philosophies and methods. * The creation of disabled access into a listed college dormitory.
