I was responsible for, general winemaking processes, including sampling of grapes and determining ripeness. I was responsible for the analysis of sugar, pH, TA and sulphur. I managed the cellar and oversaw the 2013 harvest. I did additions, monitored fermentations and kept record of data (Sawis, IPW). I carried out rackings, wine movements, and blending as well as pre- and post-bottling practices. I also presented wine tastings and attended wine shows as a representative of Tierhoek Wines.

I carried out additions, inoculations, sugar readings and monitored the fermentations. I was also responsible for documenting data, racking, filtering, pump-overs, and barrel filling. I operated crushing equipment and a 4 ton forklift. I worked with a vertical basket press as well as a horizontal bladder press.
