Ria Gupte

I recently wrapped up my journey in venture capital investing after several years largely focused on India’s consumer space. I’m now looking to transition to the operating side to help build and scale brands. Most recently, I was an Investor at Prath Ventures, a consumer-focused early-stage fund backing brands that are reimagining the way India consumes. Before that, I was part of Sharrp Ventures, the Mariwala family’s investment office, where I evaluated and supported businesses across beauty & personal care, food & beverage, home care, pet care, and consumer tech. I also spent time at Evenflow Brands, an e-commerce aggregator, where I worked on the acquisition and scaling of digital-first consumer brands. Across these experiences, I’ve had the opportunity to partner with and learn from founders behind leading consumer brands such as Zouk, SuperBottoms, Slurrp Farm, The Good Bug, Nat Habit, and Happi Planet. I hold a degree in Economics from Boston University and remain deeply passionate about the consumer ecosystem — how people buy, what they aspire to, and the brands shaping those choices.
