Project Manager, Localization Outsourcing

In this role, I led efforts to deliver high-quality localization solutions at scale for up to 22 EMEA locales, procuring services such as quality assurance, text translation, and audio recording. Overseeing the turnaround of 10 million words, 80,000 audio files, and numerous marketing videos annually, I collaborated closely with our PMO and internal teams throughout the localization process. As the primary interface between our company and vendors, I managed relationships with a pool of 20 to 25 providers, optimizing sourcing processes and overseeing outsourced localization for key game milestones. Additionally, I served as a localization subject-matter expert for our Legal team, creating contracts and assessing legal risks for major EU territories, Russia, Turkey, KSA, and others. Key Projects and Achievements: -Implemented and managed a cost tracking and forecasting solution, achieving an 85% average forecast accuracy. -Successfully delivered FIGS + Russian localization for World Of Warcraft: Battle For Azeroth, encompassing 10 million words, 60,000 audio files, and 4,000 testing hours. -Provided same-day VOD subtitling for Blizzcon 2017 streams in German, Russian, Korean, and French, (over 300,000 words translated in 48 hours). -Designed and implemented vendor engagement programs, onboarding over 10 new localization vendors.
