In this 100% remote position, I was responsible for: Sourcing external service providers with specific requirements in mind (text translation, machine translation post-editing, culturalization, audio localization, legal counsel) Negotiating package deals for large localization projects Establishing partnerships with other localization service providers to extend our coverage and increase our sales Creating data visualization and KPI dashboards for c-suite (margin trends, cost efficiency, cost avoidance...) Establishing competitive bids in tandem with our business development team by providing accurate cost forecasts on multi-lingual audio projects Developping custom tools and solutions to support the audio production team with daily operations and decrease our defect rate Providing service contracts and promotional rights legal insight to our clients and sales team Training and mentoring fellow team members in all of the above. In this role, I spearheaded a strategic program to centralize Blizzard localization efforts into a unified global team, aimed at accelerating localization delivery across all territories and reducing time-to-market. My focus was on standardizing and optimizing outsourced solutions for regional offices worldwide (EMEA, APAC, LATAM). Key Achievements: -Standardized cost structures globally for text, audio, QA, and other localization services. -Consolidated contracts and service providers across regional offices. -Collaborated with Legal and Strategic Sourcing teams to modernize contractual frameworks. -Developed global continuity of service solutions in partnership with regional offices and headquarters. -Streamlined internal project management by centralizing operations.

In this role, I led efforts to deliver high-quality localization solutions at scale for up to 22 EMEA locales, procuring services such as quality assurance, text translation, and audio recording. Overseeing the turnaround of 10 million words, 80,000 audio files, and numerous marketing videos annually, I collaborated closely with our PMO and internal teams throughout the localization process. As the primary interface between our company and vendors, I managed relationships with a pool of 20 to 25 providers, optimizing sourcing processes and overseeing outsourced localization for key game milestones. Additionally, I served as a localization subject-matter expert for our Legal team, creating contracts and assessing legal risks for major EU territories, Russia, Turkey, KSA, and others. Key Projects and Achievements: -Implemented and managed a cost tracking and forecasting solution, achieving an 85% average forecast accuracy. -Successfully delivered FIGS + Russian localization for World Of Warcraft: Battle For Azeroth, encompassing 10 million words, 60,000 audio files, and 4,000 testing hours. -Provided same-day VOD subtitling for Blizzcon 2017 streams in German, Russian, Korean, and French, (over 300,000 words translated in 48 hours). -Designed and implemented vendor engagement programs, onboarding over 10 new localization vendors.

In this role, I was leading a team of a localization experts to deliver epic French localization for all Blizzard products. In the challenging context of a rapidly growing portfolio, I focused on balancing process improvement and cost optimization with the team's culture of excellence and quality-driven approach. There was a great deal of change management involved as we collectively evolved a fully internal localization model into a scalable model. Key achievements: •Successfully shipped 5 major products including 2 entirely new IPs •Supported multi-platform releases, including PC, console and mobile. •Doubled our average yearly output to an average of 2 million words and 5k audio files •Tripled our out-of-game (marcom) requests turnaround to over a thousand per year

• Managed an international team of 15 localization and game maintenance specialists (Chinese, French, and German) in charge of localization and maintenance for 4 MMORPGs. • Drafted and proposed schedules for upcoming localization projects, coordinating with European and US offices to ensure timely completion and avoid bottlenecks. • Oversaw and managed recruitment, designed interview plans and localization tests, managed job advertisement. • Designed, implemented and conducted training and performance improvement plans, drove continuous improvement initiative in the team. • Drafted KPI templates and conducted performance reviews.

• Manage a team of 10 localization and game maintenance specialists, from supervision of initial localization through the localization lifecycle to maintenance and implementation of subsequent content updates for several MMORPGs in tandem. • Maintain close relationship with PWE's European and American divisions through daily communication to achieve agile localization and QA processes across three offices. • Actively participate in recruiting new localization specialists, co-drafting and reviewing linguistic tests, conducting initial interviews, training newcomers and generally supervising their integration in the team. • Establish and develop general localization practices including the creation of style guides and integration of standard tools and methods to achieve top-notch localization and linguistic quality in all projects.
