* Performs physical inspection of in-process and finished product samples as assigned and according to the production schedule * collects samples from manufacturing and packaging according to the defined Batch Production Record (BPR) and procedure requirements * performs Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) related verifications including area, equipment and line clearances, cleaning, room inspection, material verification, according to procedures * supports process validation and qualification activities * responds to and escalates events identified during production * participates in gap analysis and recommends revisions to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) * collaborates with manufacturing and quality partners to identify and implement improvements * performs in-process audits to identify adherence to SOP and BPR requirements * actively participates in training events, and maintains currency with assigned training requirements.

* Conducts thorough physical inspection including visual and measurement test of finished product according to process order * approves in-process production by confirming specifications * rejects and returns unacceptable materials and communicating the required adjustments to production operators * documents inspection result by completing reports and logs and inputting data into production order database for good issue and good receipt * maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures established by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) * active compliance on International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) mandate * updates professional knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications * accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
