As an experienced HR professional and passionate mentor, I am committed to leadership development and career growth. I am excited to serve as a mentor at the University of North Florida’s Taylor Leadership Institute, where I will guide students in the Leadership Practicum course by providing real-world insights, career-specific coaching, and professional connections to help them succeed after graduation. Through this initiative, I will be matched with a UNF “Leadership Apprentice” who is interested in my current or former career field. With a commitment of just five hours over the semester, I have the opportunity to positively influence a future leader by offering mentorship through phone, video conference, or in-person meetings. The program also includes training and resources to enhance the mentorship experience, ensuring meaningful and impactful guidance for students. With a strong background in talent development and organizational leadership, I am passionate about empowering individuals to reach their full potential.

As a member of the SHRM JAX Mentorship Program, my role is to connect mentors with mentees, facilitating meaningful relationships that support professional development and growth. I focus on aligning experienced professionals with those seeking guidance, helping to create valuable learning opportunities for both parties. This role allows me to contribute to the HR community by fostering connections that drive success and mutual development.

YCC provides short term crisis care, mental health counseling, skills-based group training, and transitional living services program for children, teens, young adults, and their families. YCC provides more than a safety net for those in need, YCC transforms lives to hundreds of youth and their families every year.

I serve as a mentor to refugee youth and young adults through Lutheran Social Services' mentorship program. This initiative supports individuals aged 15-24 as they navigate personal, vocational, and academic goals. As a mentor, I collaborate with my mentees to achieve milestones such as applying for college, which involves researching schools, exploring financial aid options, and completing applications. I dedicate one hour weekly or two hours bimonthly to fostering growth and resilience in these young individuals. It’s a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible difference in their lives while promoting inclusivity and empowerment.

Pace provides free year-round middle school and high school academics, case management, counseling, and life skills development in a trauma-informed and gender-responsive environment.
