Rhiannon Hughes

As the co-founder and director of Residential Recruitment, I specialise in placing staff within residential children's homes across the UK. My dedication to this cause stems from personal experience, having been a looked-after child from the age of 6. My mission is to support vulnerable children by ensuring they have compassionate carers and strong managers. This allows me to put back into the system. At 30, I bring over six years of experience in the healthcare and social care sectors such as recruitment and working on the floor, having worked in roles such as palliative care, children’s homes, and supported accommodation. These roles have equipped me with skills in sourcing, recruitment, rotas, training team leadership, mental health care, and managing challenging behaviors and complex needs. In addition, I’ve successfully owned and managed my own bar/restaurant, gaining valuable experience in operations, leadership, and customer service. I am passionate about helping others and matching candidates with positions that meet their needs, whether that be location, work-life balance, or salary. I am a confident, empathetic leader who thrives in challenging situations and is committed to listening and addressing the needs of others.
