Within its mots outstanding achievements are: - The sustained EBITDA increase breaking historical records of the 44 years of operations in Chile. - It also stands out the length of the concession contracts with the Port Authority and the long-term commercial contract with Codelco for the Sulphuric Acid reception and storage in San Antonio port premises. - A significant costs reduction has been achieved by processes efficiency gains through technology implementation, new procurement policies and an improved working environment. - A significant improvement on safety labour conditions and industrial assets with environmental awareness were implemented successfully providing efficiency and reliability to the Sulphuric Acid logistic chain. - A sophisticated (made in house) IT tool was implemented to improve the truck loading operations, its turn around and dwell time adding value and efficiency to the customers and its trucking companies. - He has also introduced a successful company restructuring equipping it with the technology tools for an integrated management control (ERP) establishing key performance metrics and indicators. - It is also relevant the diversification of services penetrating the energy segment through clients dedicated to fossil fuels, clean products of petroleum and LPG.

Responsible along the South American West Coast (covering from Mexico to Chile), for the whole ships fleet and port operations, container terminals, logistics, accountancy, finances, costs control, procurement and administration of contracts with the sector’s larger suppliers, such as port terminals, truck and railways companies, shipping agency networks, containers depots, tugboats. Important costs reductions as well as significant efficiency improvements of the maritime lanes traffics in the region were achieved. It also stands out the opening of an office in Peru generating additional operational income and wider market coverage.

Representative of this Chilean company in Europe and responsible for the whole ships fleet operations while in Europe and for the multipurpose port terminals operation (dry bulk cargo, break bulk, containers, heavy lift, projects cargoes, etc.) multimodal logistics (deep sea ships, train, trucks, barges, feeders), warehosuing, costs control, negotiation and administration of contracts with suppliers from the european ports and the logistics chains from different countries in Europe (Northern Europe, Baltic, Mediterranean area and northern Africa coast). It should be noted the sustained costs reduction achieved amongst different countries in the continent, besides logistics improvements combining and optimizing transport means available in the area.
