This was my school holidays and weekend job. I learned how to make cheese in the factory, how to do the lab test on the products to insure great standards and quality and we made the puddings for Woolworths. It was a great experience, as I learned how to work with different kinds of people, in different circumstances and with different products. What I learned during my holidays did prepare me for my future and to adjust to any conditions and challanges.

Being in charge of the stock for Dispatch to ensure all orders go out and that the stock send out to customers are in great condition and within the dates allowed to trade. Daily, weekly and monthly stock takes to ensure the figures are correct and corresponding with the online figures. Monthly variance reports submitted after investigating stock losses or abundance of stock. Weekly production planning to ensure all customers stock be available for either delivery or collection and to make sure no excess of stock remains. Weekly forecasts with production plants in different locations to make sure we have the correct stock on hand for all our deliveries.

I had a team consisting of 2 dayshift, and 2 nightshift workers. I managed the shifts, days off and leave for every member. I ran the security for the whole plant and sometimes had to fit in a nightshift for myself, allowing to understand the conditions the guys worked in, wich was a great experience. I took responsibility for the whole plant's security, wich included the workers, the stock and the plant.
