Responsibilities: • In-charge of 5 network engineers tasked with supporting network services. The team is responsible for daily management of LAN, WAN, Network Security and VOICE services supporting over 140 branches, over 100 offsite ATM locations and over 4000 staff. • Serving as the subject matter expert, I am the primary resource for network infrastructure capacity planning, budgeting and implementation • Primary liaison with IT risk management for formulation of policy governing network security policy • Primary contact for network infrastructure resource allocation • Responsible for SLA management with third party providers • Directly responsible for deployment of network infrastructure for sensitive projects • Mentored entry level individuals who are now experience network engineers

• Working at the technical helpdesk providing second level support to customers with technical difficulties that include routing and configuration diagnosis on routers, firewalls, VOIP gateways, email servers and local area network issues. • Organizing of Field engineer day to day schedules. • Regularly stand in for the Service Delivery Team Leader in their absence. • Customer Solution design • Advising customers on LAN design and technologies as well as hardware requirements needed to achieve LAN design specifications. • Cisco router and firewall administration and installation. • Resolve problems emanating from various routing protocols including EIGRP, OSPF and BGP. • MPLS set up and maintenance. • VSAT installation and maintenance. • VOIP installation and maintenance. • Installation, mapping and maintenance of wireless connections on WiMAX platform. • Liaising with 3rd party providers.
