I began my career in healthcare in the early 1990's at the time it made sense to work an opposite shift than my husband so our children were never in daycare and always with us or family which was very important to us at the time. So I took the class and became a CNA! I loved helping my residents and I loved learning. Many superiors always mentioned I should go to nursing school. I did take the course through New England Gerontology and became a CMT/CNA. I decided to keep going and finally became and RN in Dec 2009 after a very long road. I love taking care of people and making them feel better, no matter what the situation, from rehabilitation from a total knee replacement to assisting a patient comfortably crossing over to the other side. I will always give 110% at what I do.
